I've always loved creating things, and somewhere along the way, Fresh Ginger Designs became my creative outlet—a place to dream up ideas, make things just because I could, and have a little fun with whatever I was inspired by at the time.

What started as a creative hobby in 2013 slowly turned into something more. One idea led to another, people started asking where they could get the things I was making, and before I really had a chance to plan it, FGD had become a small business.

Looking back, it all feels a little serendipitous. I didn't set out to build a brand—I just kept creating, and somehow it became something that was meant to be.

What started as a way to make my own space feel more like home grew into Fresh Ginger Designs—a place where I get to turn my ideas into things you can wear, use, display, gift, and make your own.

The designs are the heart of FGD. 

Whether I'm creating a decal by hand, designing a new sweatshirt, dreaming up a mug for your kitchen, or putting together something completely new, I'm always looking for ways to make everyday things a little more fun.

Most of the products you see here aren't handmade by me from start to finish—and that's intentional. I design the products and choose the pieces they're printed, pressed, or produced on because I care just as much about how something looks and feels as I do about the idea behind it. And when something *is* handmade by me, you'll know it.

You'll find a mix of women's apparel, unisex pieces, home goods, decals, digital designs, and plenty of seasonal things along the way. The categories may change, but the goal stays the same: cute, fun designs that feel like you.

So, why Fresh Ginger?

The name came from two things that have stuck with me from the beginning: fresh ideas and being a Ginger. I'm a redhead, after all. 😉

"Fresh" felt right because I never wanted FGD to be about simply recreating what everyone else was doing. Some ideas are brand new, some are inspired by things I already love, and some are my own take on something familiar—but they all start with a creative spark and my particular point of view.

And Ginger? Well… that part was pretty obvious.

It's quirky, it's memorable, and after all these years, I can't imagine calling it anything else.

Fresh Ginger Designs has changed a lot since 2013, but the reason behind it really hasn't: I love creating things that make a space, an outfit, or an ordinary day feel a little more like you.
